2016-2017 RCMS Y-Club Members: Round One

After careful consideration of the initial round of applications, here is the first list of members of the 2016-2017 RCMS Y-Club!

CAVEAT: if you are not on this list, it does not mean you are not in the Y-Club for this next school year.  It simply means we have yet to receive your application OR (in the case of two students who turned their application into school but they have not been considered) their application simply have not been read.

Also, this list denotes new members who have already paid their initial $20 due.  Those students' names have been marked with an asterisk (*).

Congratulations to the newest group of the finest middle school club in the Bluegrass State!  If you have not submitted your application and wish to do so, you can access it here:

Also, due to a variety of factors, we keep our club numbers between 45-50, breaking down each grade level as follows: 6th grade - 10-15 members; 7th grade - 15-20 members; 8th grade - 15-25 members.  Those numbers are flexible as long as the total number doesn't exceed 50.  Therefore, if we only end up with twelve (12) 8th graders, that leaves considerably more spots open for 6th and 7th graders.

*MEMBERSHIP APPLICATIONS ARE DUE BY FRIDAY, AUGUST 19th*

Lastly, we have leadership positions available for 7th (with previous Y-Club experience) and 8th grade students.  For those interested, the next two links will be helpful.  The first is an outline from the KY YMCA website that gives an idea as to what each leadership position is responsible for.  The second is our own RCMS Y-Club Officer Application.

MobileServe

 Hey, everyone!

As most of you know, the Kentucky YMCA has partnered with an iOS app called MobileServe, which will allows to record, log, and remember all of our individual AND group service.

Since the RCMS Y-Club is all about that service, this is an app that is a MUST HAVE for Y-Club members.  If you need help logging service hours, we can help with that.  First and foremost, however, you need to do the following:

STEP ONE: Log in to the iTunes Stores.
STEP TWO: Click on APPS.
STEP THREE: Search for MOBILESERVE.
STEP FOUR: Download that bad boy.
STEP FIVE: Fill out the required information.
STEP SIX: When asked about your organization code, here it is:

RCMS MOBILESERVE CODE:
5D98F1

The code above will affiliate you with our group and will make it SUPER easy to verify your service hours with RCMS.

Thanks!
